What made you happy today?

I think that a few of the crows that live in or around a parking lot near my apartment might recognize me now. I've seen them flying up to wait for me by a path I use for the last few days.

I got excited learning the etymology of the word Cobweb and how it relates to other languages (I really like etymologies).

I also put together a little posable Eevee model.

This scene from the reboot of Thunderbirds - with the Tracey Boys finding Jeff (who was 'lost' on a mission 8 years earlier while trying to stop the Hood) alive; the boys having a happy moment as they reunite with their Dad.

The life I once knew, feels like it's gone. Sara and Joanna should not be allowed to be carers, and this coronavirus thing is a drag as well. I'm not in jail, so that's something at least. :(

I got to visit with Tucker the dog.
His people were up this weekend.
They live downstate.

The fact that I realized I had enough cash set aside to make a small donation to my Extra Life fundraiser this year. Also, I have just got vacation time approved for the Monday after my 24-hour video gaming marathon. It will be a great time.

I had at least ten crows following me at one point today. There are a few of them that mostly stay on the other side of the highway from me and follow me when I'm in town that fly past me from behind really close to my head, not sure if it is an effort to be noticed, intended to impress me, or part of a tactic to distract or unnerve something in order to steal a bite of it's food. It's pretty cool when they do it. Today one ended up grazing my head, I think unintentionally. There is one (or maybe more) that seems to have figured out that I'm trying to keep the crows from the other side of the highway away from the ones on this side of the highway, and that I'm not as likely to feed a big crowd of them as I am one or two. So it stays quiet and soars in close to the ground to land in front of me and wait for me. Several of them have figured out where my door is now, but maybe not where my balcony is yet.
There is a tiny brown bird with a black head and a yellow beak that likes sunflower seeds, so I've been setting some of those on my railing for it.
All of that made me pretty happy today.
