This was the first “women with aspergers” book I read. I could see how it was important when it first came out: there wasn’t a lot of information available about female autism back then. But now, with more information and content made by autistic women themselves, the book is less relevant I think.
Personally it wasn’t a horrible book, and provided some emotional support. I liked spotting the traits that I have being discussed by other people. That said, with the wealth of videos and blogs and information nowadays, unless you really really like reading and prefer to get your information from a book, the book does not stand out to me in particular.
