    Your favorite comfort food/beverage?

I love coffee. I'm addicted to it but fortunately I never go over 3 coffees per day and 3 is the maximum. However I can't go a day without my coffee cup. I'm so far up into it at this point that I don't even notice the 'nerves' thing. In fact I drink it to even calm myself down from my anxiety...

    FEEDING TIME

In this game an animal that follows alphabetical order will be posted. It can be any kind of animal. The next person will then offer/feed a food item/meal to the animal above. Both the animal and the food item/meal must have a matching letter before moving onto the next. (A-A, B-B, C-C, and so...

    Sensory comfort foods?

Do any of you have a sensory comfort food. Like something you eat that helps with anxiety. I'm not talking about drugs. For me it's anything cold. Sometimes I'll just put ice cubes in a bowl and eat that

    Some people actually like food?

Some people like food? They are very easy to bribe with just food. They force me to be happy from food like them, and in school they eat it crazily like animals. Why? They are okay with spending their whole income on it and then take photos of it, that are disgusting to look at. Food for me is...

  7. Grocery shopping and meals...

Recently doing my supermarket shopping has become more of a chore for me, really draining since I hardly know what I want to buy and recently have come away having not bought much. The problem is that I don't know what I will fancy to eat (except for some kind of stir fry and or curry udon), I...

    Have Trouble Eating Alone Sometimes

Well, my next to last day in Bangkok and I went out to a restaurant that is doing interesting work with traditional flavors. I had chilis, about like Hatch Chilis, stuffed with crab and pork, cooked in Panang curry. The sweetness of the curry worked magnificently with the flavors and the heat...

    Autistic people & waffles?

I've been meaning to ask, a couple of months ago, I saw Autistic people elsewhere online joking about how we like waffles or something; is that true or accurate?

Have you tried the double big mac?

I really fancy a McDonald's but I'm a piglet when it comes to getting food but I also don't want to eat lol, weird question, have you tried the double big mac ? It's 4 burgers instead of 2 but inside a stack! Its a weird question but I gotta be funny lol

    Best movie about food.

There is a thread about pasta, and that started me thinking of movies about food. What are your favorites? Mine? 1. Tampopo. A cowboy trucker becomes sensei to a hapless noodle shop chef. 2. Babette's Feast. A renown chef submerges herself in an ascetic Danish sect, only to request to cook...

Trying to get myself out of a “food loop”

Not sure if this is the best board to post this in but it didn’t seem like it really fit in any of the others. For the past few weeks I’ve found myself stuck in what I call a “food loop” where I only want to eat one type of food, or food from a specific restaurant. This month it’s Taco Bell...

What food crimes have you witnessed/commited?

For starters, here is my friend explaining his ramen sandwhich. BTW, the way we were both speaking to each other was in good fun (although I was, in fact, genuinely disgusted). I am the least picky eater I know, but that draws the line for me.

    Eating Habits

I have a question for the community. Whenever I am eating anything that has a meat entree, and either rice, pasta, or vegetables with it, when I get closer to the end of the meal, I divide up the meat into 4 different pieces and try to divide the noodles, etc. into portions with each piece...

Are things going to be okay?

I was at the store today and the lines are longer than I have ever seen them. People are buying everything and some shelves are empty. I am not worried about the virus, I may get sick but I think I will get better. I am worried about people panicking, buying everything up and then people not...

    Different Kinds of Food Issues

So having sensory issues with food is pretty normal for us from what I've read, but I'm curious about all the different ways this can manifest. The most standard version I've heard about is people preferring bland food or having trouble with texture. I have a friend who isn't yet diagnosed but I...

What We Eat - Autism and Food

Hi I’m really interested for (artistic purposes) in what people with Autism eat. For my project, I am asking for photos of a meal you are eating from birds eye view, so it would be looking down onto your plates and bowls. It would be great if the background was white, so the food really stood...

If cats and dogs don't have to eat vegetables why do I?

Don't get me wrong I like vegetables actually but when things are rough I only want to eat the same thing for all of my meals which is usually peanut butter sandwiches, crackers or plain rice with soy sauce.
