  • I woke up feeling depressed. :( My ex-friend is still someone that I can’t stop thinking about.

    What does your therapist recommend?
I don’t think I am ever going to draw again. :(

Sounds like there is a story that would be good to share?

@Misty Avich I have a creative block in my psyche as well as a tendency to mess up whatever I do.

"creative block in my psyche" is quite a lyrical phrase.

The story about messing up whatever you do could use a re-write.
Instead of giving up because the result wasn't perfect, how about
    accepting the effort, and continue.
Is Discord truly the future or is it just the trauma I have from it?

Are you asking whether all your future experiences are fated to resemble
    whatever happened on Discord?

    Yes.

That's one of those non-rational ideas, actually.

That past history is an all-important determiner of future events.
I saw a nerdy/geeky couple sitting together. The lady put her legs on the man’s lap. I felt defeated and had to leave the place.

I understand it can be hard to watch others have what you wish for, I really hope you will find someone soon.
I think someone assumed I am a fan of Andrew Tate. I don’t like him and he’s said men like me are “losers” so why would I look up to him?
    Gerontius

This will sound odd, but men who don't like Tate, have better chances with the kinds of women you've said before that you liked. Put your best foot forward, and this is part of that "best foot" to stand on.

Don't know who assumes that, or why it makes lots of difference. My coworkers think I'm gay or that I'm too uptight or that I'm a lot of very unpleasant things. Doesn't matter. My life maintains reasonable stability without them.
I heard what sounded like Gregorian chants downtown through the air.

Someone really likes old music then. Was it some carolers? It's almost Christmas time.

Might have been recorded music out through a loud speaker.
    For the ambiance......
I wasn’t scheduled for work today but I woke up late. I also had to treat my back since the pain made even using the toilet hurt.

    It's a few days later.
    How's your back now?
    Markness

@tree No pain today. It hurt yesterday after I had a big sneeze and was irritated throughout the rest of the day after that.

Have you recently, or at any time in the past, consulted
a medical professional about back pain? @Markness
I think I pulled a muscle in my lower back.

@tree She said “fat stomach” and didn’t elaborate.

    @Markness
    ah, I see.
She didn't mean the stomach as part of the digestive system.
She was referring casually to your abdomen, belly.

How often does she refer to your weight and fitness?
    Markness
    Markness
@tree Quite often and in an insulting manner. She also claims it is why I don’t have a girlfriend.

Ironically, working on being happy without one, might just be the thing that attracts one to you.
I went to see my dentist today and he has prescribed me steroid pills because he thinks the underlying problem in my jaw is either a glandular or muscular issue.

How's it going with the stuff the dentist prescribed?

Is this the first time anybody medical has attempted to treat the situation?

The swelling in the side of my face has gone down but there is still some pain. I also have “sharp” pains in my forehead.

    It is.

The first treatment plan I was supposed to follow for TMJ dysfunction was called Aspirin Therapy.

20 to 30 aspirin per day.
