I bought another stick stone and saw that it needs to be rinsed after use. I’ve applied it for the last few days and there has been no ill effects so far.
    tree

    That's good to hear.

The only person I've known who had any trouble with the stick was a guy who
said it didn't work on him. Turned out he was rubbing a dry stone on his dry
    arm pit.

Not the way to do it.
I drove to a restaurant but then found out that I don’t have my wallet on me. And by the time I get back home to get it, the restaurant will be close to closing.

It’s only things my mother and stepfather want. They don’t approve of individual preferences.
    tree
    tree
    They are individuals.

What it sounds like you're saying is that you don't buy your own food.
    Markness
    Markness
I do buy my own food. It just runs out faster than their’s.
    The nightmares are still happening.

I don’t have nightmares or dreams… well remember them. Can’t remember the last time I had one.

Last night I dreamt of a giant baby chasing me and telling me that it's going to take my aunt away from me

That goes without saying, which is a lucky thing since nobody listens to me when I tell them
My emotions matter and I don’t think they should be denied.
    tree
    tree
    Certainly they should not.

And neither should rational thinking be avoided.

Tree is correct. It's entirely possible to hold both thoughts in your head at the same time. You can be sad, but also realize that you pinned way too much hope on one person you met one time.

Your emotions matter to you; this much is certain. Whether or not they should matter to others is not so certain, and may not even be a rational expectation.

Each of us is responsible for not only our own feelings, but how we express those feelings . . . or even if we should.
I keep getting nightmares whenever I sleep.
    tree
    tree
Do you detect an underlying theme in them?
    Markness
    Markness
I detect a lot of dread in them. They’ve also involved my older brother scaring me.
I wish I could finally post about finally meeting the love of my life. :(

Me too, I would be really happy for you.

The public declaration seems to be as important to you as the actual
    desired outcome. @Markness

    Again, I recommend
method, if you want to work with what you're presenting yourself as content, while you're sleeping.
I don’t understand it when someone suddenly decides to ghost me.

That's the idea. To be suddenly ostracized without warning. A sort of "Anti-Social Pearl Harbor".
The lady with glasses and hoodie working at Dutch Bros. today I made some small talk with the best I could. I just wish more could’ve happened.

Practice never hurts. Especially when done with retail contacts. I do it all the time.

Some of the Games here on the forum are good practice for continuing a conversation.
I had a nightmare about my siblings threatening to harm me and worse if I didn’t obey them. :(

It's just a dream, one could say. But I cannot say that, not because it isn't true. Because I've had something similar as a dream involving my half-siblings. Though in my dream, they were demons in the form of my half-siblings.

There could be a meaning behind your dream.

I think someone boasted to me about how interacting with his child was his main purpose in life and he shamed me for wanting a girlfriend.
    Markness
    Markness
It came off like that to me.
    Markness
    Markness
@tree It was something like “Quit being depressed, you selfish person. I have a baby to care for and it gives me a purpose to interact and play with it. Why can’t you do that, too?” Well, I don’t have a girlfriend or a wife and I am not a father.
    tree
    tree
It was something like that, but that's not an actual quote, is it?
I woke up feeling depressed. :( My ex-friend is still someone that I can’t stop thinking about.

I don’t think I am ever going to draw again. :(

Sounds like there is a story that would be good to share?
    Markness

@Misty Avich I have a creative block in my psyche as well as a tendency to mess up whatever I do.
    tree
    tree
"creative block in my psyche" is quite a lyrical phrase.

The story about messing up whatever you do could use a re-write.
Instead of giving up because the result wasn't perfect, how about
    accepting the effort, and continue.
Is Discord truly the future or is it just the trauma I have from it?
    tree

Are you asking whether all your future experiences are fated to resemble
    whatever happened on Discord?

    Yes.

That's one of those non-rational ideas, actually.

That past history is an all-important determiner of future events.
