  • My confidence has fallen and smashed apart on the ground. :(

What's the time line on that?

When was the confidence level higher than it is currently?

It was higher during the first part of last year but after what happened with Jennifer, the toxicity on Discord I got dealt with, flunking a college course, and other traumas I’ve had to go through, my confidence has plummeted.
I wish life would go my way instead of hitting dead ends. :(

Some of the things you regard as dead ends could be considered stepping stones.
Another weekend ending in disappointment. :(

I didn't go out the door all weekend, just lazed around in my soft, warm bathrobe. Often I like doing nothing.

Drop out of college you will make zero friends there. Still work at your job because you have too but don't except to be noticed. Try a new hobby like yoga or dancing. Try hanging and meeting kinder people.
I carelessly missed another social opportunity with a pretty gothic lady. :(

Another way to think of this is that you realize that the next time you see her,
you might advance the encounter slightly by speaking to her.
I don’t want to give up wanting a girlfriend.

    Thanks for the update.

Dont. I'm not. But I'm not obsessed over it over more. I am hanging out with friends. If there are single girls so be it. I am not obsessed trying to seek them out. I am just enjoying hanging out with friends.
I have no friends at work.

You've mentioned people you call friends, giving them rides, going places with them.

    How/where/when did these friendships arise?

Work is complicated when it comes to friends or lovers. With the reality that all coworkers are inevitably competitors in the eyes of your employer. Worse still is when a relationship with a coworker fails and both of you remain in the same office. Much more painful than loneliness.
I can't figure out how to get out of my rut. :(

You are your own person. No one but you can figure out you.

The rut only exists because you, so far, have refused to see whatever problems you continue to repeat, without consideration of thier existence.

See the problem and the solution will follow.

What I did was join a Chuch and made friends. Joined yoga and made friends with the teachers and acquaintances with some of the students. I did not waste my time trying to make friends on useless endeavors that made things much worse like places like higher education and employment.
The library I work at has been unproductive in regards to finding inroads to socialization.

    What were you expecting?
(This is an actual question. Not a 'wisecrack.')
My body odor is going from bad to worse since not only am I allergic to all deodorants but my stress and weight have both increased.

I bought another stick stone and saw that it needs to be rinsed after use. I’ve applied it for the last few days and there has been no ill effects so far.
    tree
    tree
    That's good to hear.

The only person I've known who had any trouble with the stick was a guy who
said it didn't work on him. Turned out he was rubbing a dry stone on his dry
    arm pit.

Not the way to do it.
I drove to a restaurant but then found out that I don’t have my wallet on me. And by the time I get back home to get it, the restaurant will be close to closing.

It’s only things my mother and stepfather want. They don’t approve of individual preferences.
    tree

    They are individuals.

What it sounds like you're saying is that you don't buy your own food.

I do buy my own food. It just runs out faster than their’s.
    The nightmares are still happening.

I don’t have nightmares or dreams… well remember them. Can’t remember the last time I had one.

Last night I dreamt of a giant baby chasing me and telling me that it's going to take my aunt away from me

That goes without saying, which is a lucky thing since nobody listens to me when I tell them
My emotions matter and I don’t think they should be denied.
    tree
    tree
    Certainly they should not.

And neither should rational thinking be avoided.

Tree is correct. It's entirely possible to hold both thoughts in your head at the same time. You can be sad, but also realize that you pinned way too much hope on one person you met one time.

Your emotions matter to you; this much is certain. Whether or not they should matter to others is not so certain, and may not even be a rational expectation.

Each of us is responsible for not only our own feelings, but how we express those feelings . . . or even if we should.
I keep getting nightmares whenever I sleep.
    tree

Do you detect an underlying theme in them?
    Markness
    Markness
I detect a lot of dread in them. They’ve also involved my older brother scaring me.
I wish I could finally post about finally meeting the love of my life. :(

    Again, I recommend

I don’t understand it when someone suddenly decides to ghost me.

That's the idea. To be suddenly ostracized without warning. A sort of "Anti-Social Pearl Harbor".
The lady with glasses and hoodie working at Dutch Bros. today I made some small talk with the best I could. I just wish more could’ve happened.
