Onward. Cartoon movie can do things that work that would not work with human actors. I enjoyed the story. Watching the characters cope with and overcome their problems.

"Basic." Bored, channel surfing, came across this. Watched it twice because I was doing other things and missed too much the first time. Military setting for an involved murder mystery. Enjoyed it.

The Blackout (2020)
I found it quite watchable tbh & although it seemed a bit disjointed I did engage well with it. The disjointed effect I felt is explained in the Wikipedia entry on this film, which lays out some production problems during pre & post production. Anyway I liked it much like I liked 'Hardcore Henry" which is a much better English Sci-Fi film from Russia.

"Zulu" (1964)

The story of the battle of Rorke's Drift in South Africa, 1879. Where 150 British soldiers and colonials fought against some 4000 Zulu warriors, and won.

Moral of the story? Don't bring a spear to a gunfight.

Last movie that I watched? Hugo (2011)
Trailer

It was a nice movie, but the trailer is a bit misleading.
