What pets do you have? Why? How did you choose them?

Rats are highly intelligent and easy to train. In Africa they actually have programs that have trained giant rats how to find undetinated landmines in the war ravaged areas. (The rats are light enough not to trigger them, but also sensitive enough to find them before they can be triggered.)

Yes, rats are very intelligent.

I have a cat that I adopted. I always knew a cat would be suitable for me. I’m bad about committing to schedules so for example potty breaks, daily walks, a needy animal in general is too intimidating. We are perfect for each other and give each other lots of love.

I own a pet cat. We've had her since 2008 and she's always been a good cat. I'm a major cat fan, so of course this is the main reason we own one to begin with.
