  • Weekend away, so not needing any earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones as I'm not under noisy stomping neighbours. Lovely. I was beginning to forget what it felt like to try and relax without that horrid noise constantly above my head.
Going to my old hometown tomorrow (where I grew up). It's a lovely town but for some reason it's making me feel a little off, not sure why. Maybe because it reminds me of my late mother too much.
Today was my due date, meaning I was assumed to be born on this date. So it would have been my birthday today. But because I was born late, my birthday still isn't quite yet lol
Don't care that I'm 34 soon, my teddy comes on vacation with me :p 😍

I have a little stuffed cat in bed because my actual cat won't sleep with me lol.

Aw that's nice. Well we all have a hotel room each and it'll be the first time I've ever slept in a hotel room on my own so I need a bit of company at night, and yes a teddy bear is good company if you are attached to it enough. I just hope the hotel has WiFi too

Have fun with your teddy on vacation! I strapped a big stuffed pokémon on my backpack to go on my trip. Let them stare if they want (by the way: no one actually stared - however, I usually just don't see it when people stare :D )
A bucket fell on my head. It was empty but made from rather stern plastic. It hit the top left of my head. I saw stars for about 1 second. It hurt too. Will this result in brain damage or epilepsy? Or would it of had to be more fatal for that to happen?

    Ouch.
I just worry in case my brain is more delicate than the average brain due to being Aspie and it seems common among spectrumers to develop epilepsy and things, and that is one co-morbid I've never had.

If your vision is foggy / blurry, you definitely have a concussion. Treat it like a migraine, but stay awake instead of napping for at least 5 hours. The old school rule of thumb, if you will, per hits to the noggin - if you feel a swollen lump on your head, you are far better off than if you feel no lump at all. No lump at all is when you absolutely go to the doctor.

If you still feel considerable pain now (since it was a while ago), feel dizzy, nauseated, have trouble with your vision or get any other neurological things, a concussion is probable and you should see a doctor. If it's fine by now, you should be okay. It shouldnt cause epilepsy or brain damage just like that in a young, healthy person, without any bleeding or visible trauma. But see a doctor if you're worried.
Can't sleep with an empty stomach. I've had 2 substantial meals today but now I feel so hungry again and my stomach keeps gnawing like it really wants food. But I'm meant to be on a strict diet so I know I'll feel guilty if I eat in the middle of the night, even if it's a piece of fruit (as fruit seems to surprisingly have calories).

Put me on 600lb life with Dr Now and get me that surgery!! 😂😂😂

Drinking water will just go straight through me and cause me to pee all night

So, instead of eating "two substantial meals" try eating four meals a day.
That means half the amount at a time, but more often.
My husband gently told me not to worry about our money situation and to let him do the worrying. I said, "yeah but you might not worry right." And that really made him laugh. 🤣
    But it's true - I am the world's expert on worrying. 🤣
I don't get how it's stupid to announce online how much money you have won, yet people win money by going into the radio contest and if you win it's announced on the radio that you have won money, along with your real name and place of living, and everybody's okay with it

I would say they shouldn't do that on the radio. Share peoples names and where they live. But maybe I'm just overly cautious.

They've been doing that for years, before social media became a thing. But when it comes to the internet everyone suddenly becomes paranoid.

I think people should be careful, better safe than sorry. There really is no point in telling anyone about winnings or money. Best case, nothing happens. Worst case, something bad happens. I'd say the internet is not a safe place simply because everyone have access to it.
I'm in one of those moods right now where I really cannot take criticism. If people criticise me I feel like I'm going to just break down.

Thanks. It seemed my aunt phoned me last night just to criticise my feelings or what I do, even though what I do is not affecting her. I suddenly started crying but I didn't want her to know I was crying, so I just pretended I wasn't and just listened more than talked. It's just skill McGill :p
I appear to have burnout symptoms but I don't have any trouble with socialising at work, I just have trouble motivating myself to get on with my work.
My friend is moderate autism but still has a funny sort of sarcastic sense of humour about her. When she bought a bread bin and her husband asked what it was, she replied with, "some call it a bread bin". I don't know, just the way she said it, as if to say "well what do you think it is? It's obviously a bread bin." I love my autistic friend. 🤣
Vomit on the bus again. Has now gone from every 2 weeks to every week now. I think people just have weak stomachs now. It becomes the worst job in the world for the poor unlucky person who has to clean it up (that poor unlucky person is me).

Sorry. I get it. Maybe that it isn't a good job for you if it causes serious stress. Or switch to older kids that don't get so sick.

I work at a bus depot, it's passengers who keep vomiting on our buses. I've worked here a long time and this never used to keep happening, maybe once or twice a year. Now, since Christmas, it's happened about 10-11 times and it isn't normal

I had to delete my comment about the waiting list, because as soon as I posted that I got a phonecall confirming a telephone appointment on Saturday . Are the therapy for emetophobia people lurking around here or something?🤣 🤣
I feel like Asperger's means you're socially aware enough to understand social cues and situations, but not socially aware enough to know how to not be socially awkward

I think it means being being too slow to keep up

Well maybe for me then. It seems I sit on that line right between NT and autism and not always know who I am.
You'd have thought having clear pee was a good sign, but apparently not. Apparently it could be a sign of some underlying health condition such as diabetes, kidney failure, or even cancer. What? Is this true, or is this just Google trying to scare me as usual?
Somebody who said she really enjoys seeing photos of my pets on Facebook suddenly unfriended me. Maybe it's because I haven't posted any photos of my pets lately?

She's a good friend of my aunt's and I've met her before. She's the one who sent me a Facebook request, and she's been on my Facebook for like 2 years.

I was talking to a person yesterday who has asked me, more than once, to Friend Request them.
But so far it hasn't worked out. Neither of us know why.
She says she has been having some trouble accessing some of her established FB friends, too.
    M
    Misty Avich
Well at first I thought maybe she'd deactivated her account, as sometimes it comes up as unfriended when someone has deactivated their account, but it doesn't look deactivated to me, because her profile picture and cover photo is still on her page
Feeling so sad that they've decided on cutting half the woods down to build a large school in my hometown. That woods has history and thousands of animals live there. I hate it. Nasty, greedy humans. 😥
