It's kinda of our national anthem,

Do you feel misunderstood
Do you socialize easily or not at all
We can be profound at being alone
Or profoundly lonely

Chorus
It's okay to feel this way
It's okay to feel this way

It's alright Ms Carly- it will get easier.

The pandemic ruined my life. I now have a mask phobia so I can't be around people wearing masks. I was on clonazepam 0.5 mg to handle it but my stupid doctor took me off it in a week even thought it was helping. Now I am anxious again. I nearly ran away yesterday and this was when I was off the clonazepam for a day. Otherwise I even got the vaccine a few days before and I was calm.

I feel like I am losing my friends as we don't meet in person no more. I freaking hate Zoom and wish it would crash and burn but my church uses it. Also Church is not real as it's pre recorded and fake so I am going to another one but since they are meeting in person wearing masks I need to be back on the clonazepam.

Otherwise I been serious depressed even suicidal three weeks ago not on clonazepam I was going to take a bottle of sleeping pills to wake up in heaven but I was talked out of it.

I am sick of Covid. It is overblown and there is no reason to lock stuff up and force masks, distancing for a virus not much worse than the flu and a 99% survival rate.

I'm not lonelier because of the pandemic, per se, but the pandemic has made it acceptable for job interviewers to ask for a video call and that's been putting a serious dent in my job search. I'm sure it's not legal for them to record me without at least notifying me, but I deathly afraid my awkwardness is permanently captured on camera and will somehow make it to youtube one day.

Don't worry. It won't. Are you sure they're even recording it anyway? If they do they have to tell you first, but if things don't go further they will just delete it. Try not to imagine a future that doesn't exist.

Always the balance, in all things. She gives Blessings and those compensate for hardship. I miss sunday celebrations the most(thats what we call church). I have some recordings, and its nice.

I never have zoomed yet, is that the proper parlance? One tweets, i guess never did that yet. Saying "she texted me" feels funny in my mouth like trying to mispronounce "nuclear".

I was always alone, or it seems that way now, but it wasnt really like that. Mostly alone, more so now than ever. Its more frustrating than anything. I need labor badly, but cant afford it. Dont despair, its only for a time, this too shall pass.

Until then, seek out bold new adventures! Some folks have to struggle, but thats ok.

As a female in her early thirties with autism, this pandemic has hit me really hard. I don’t work and don’t get a lot of social interaction with others because my friends have very busy lives. I do see my family, best friend who also has autism and go to church, but I feel like sometimes I am cast to the side. I love seeing people smile and now that we can’t because of the mask I feel unvalued because I don’t see people’s smiles or see people much. I know I am may being a little black and white but can anyone with autism relate?
Nope same as the last 19 years before covid! ,was alone ,had little to no support ,just was sick of queuing in the cold outside Sainsbury's last year in freezing March\April.

Hello, I don't wear a face covering, they make me claustrophobic.
On 24th July they become compulsory.
I still don't want one.
I see a lot of people with these green sunflower lanyards and wonder where to get one.
I want the police to stay away from me and see that I am exempt.

Sorry to not be of any help, because I am actually flourishing due to this period and my spiritual brothers and sisters are being very supporitve and encouraging to me.

I do, however, have social anxiety and so, never can socialise anyway and thus, this is pretty normal forme and I rather text than speak face to face.

I feel no different as far as being alone.
Just the inconvenience of certain places were shut down for a while and the masks are annoying.

Just as a note:

Even if you get one of these cards... which to me seem a little suspicious (they cost next to nothing and you just outright order one? Seriously?) that does not mean that A: it isnt still dangerous for you, B: that people around you arent being put IN danger (because you could be carrying and spreading the virus even if you have no symptoms), and C: could easily react very badly to your very presence. Just because you have a card doesnt mean everyone will go along with it. Heck, if someone around here had such a card, but was *not* completely vaccinated? They'd sure not get into this house, I can tell you that.

In other words... be very careful and smart about it. Recognize that there is a heck of a lot of risk involved in going this route and you could end up having to deal with angry, hostile people as a result.

All of this. I see you're in the UK, and I don't know what the laws are like there, but in the US, a place of business does NOT have to allow you inside if you cannot wear a mask. They have to provide some accommodation (curb side pickup) if I recall, but they don't have to allow you inside.

It's been a requirement in the US for about a year now and a lot of people are trying to claim all sorts of reasons why they "can't" wear a mask, and most of them are totally made up (and people get weirdly hostile about it) - because of this, people who have legitimate reasons not to be able to wear one aren't taken seriously.

In other words, expect a lot of pushback and possible harassment.

There is no Pandemic in my opinion.
I am not afraid to say it.
The Scamdemic was created to move us further towards the long term agenda to control and enslave us.
Card only payments, a clue to show us we are moving towards the cashless society that I heard of years ago.
They are using China as a model. No offence to any of our Chinese members here, I think you are run by a dictatorship, but that does not mean I have anything against Chinese citizens.
Lockdown has been the major cause of death, that, and falsifying death certificates, brainwashing and misinformation.
It's been going on years, George Orwell wrote about it, not that I read 1984, it started long before then but has increased rapidly in the 21st century.
I am putting nobody at risk.
A surgeons mask, a fabric mask offers no protection, we breathe in our own CO2.
If anyone wants to tackle me about not wearing a mask, I shall listen to them, let them have a rant, if they want to jump on the bandwagon of false fear the corrupt powers that be have created for us, that is their business, but I am not.
I haven't had a jab, it messes with MRna, no thanks.
They "care" about our safety, but these same people don't care about pollution, they don't care about poverty, cruelty to animals, war, civilian injury, I could go on.....
Pandemic take out the dem and what letters are left?

I'm ready for it. :)

I tend to think that it is a perfect time to push martial law and a cashless system. The other concern is the vaccine is experimental (why would l trust?) and is this a weeding out out population whose numbers have become bigger eating our natural resources? But l am a sheeple and l wear my mask. But l do wonder. The amount of Americans that became homeless over nite shows me the numbers of a population that has no choices and then become worisome to those in power. Riots were a perfect example of this. It was frighting to see cities under seige. l lived in a place with little to no riots, and l moved here because the police do keep order.
