Don't you want to be a bit careful about accepting Wavy Gravy's biscuits & gravy before you know ALL the ingredients?
 
Don't you think that cruelty directed at, and the general attitude of disrespect shown to socks is something deserving much wider attention than it is currently getting from the media?
 
How else can one explain the glee at keeping all those billions of hard working articles of clothing in a socially constructed state of permanent oppression?
 
Isn't that normally defined by context - based on what is going on at the time, like if you can't find the bathtub stopper, and somebody says "put a sock in it" you automatically know they mean "in the bathtub drain"?
