    I keep thinking about the clashes I’ve had with other users here, especially over my struggles with wanting a girlfriend. I wish love would finally come into my life so this year won’t be a repeat of the previous one.

    Something I and others have said before is that you gotta stop telling yourself this stuff over and over. Embracing these bad thoughts is one thing, but... wouldnt it be better if they didnt exist in the first place? Hard to embrace something when it's not there. And they dont have to be there, but you keep making more of them...

    The past can be troubling and thoughts of the future can be troubling too, but keep your mind in this moment if you can…

    Are you typing? Are you learning something interesting? Are you calmly breathing? You can be safe in this moment without any interference of the past or the future. Focus on the activity you are doing to keep a wandering mind from causing trouble.

    That’s what helps me.

    Bands I wish I got to see perform live but never will now: Motörhead, Black Flag with Henry Rollins, Sonic Youth, Dio, Neurosis (Technically they haven’t disbanded but with Scott Kelly getting kicked out of their ranks, the future looks grim.), Gwar with Oderus Urungus, Soundgarden, Type O Negative, Fear Factory with their classic lineup, and Fantômas seems unlikely to tour again.

    I nearly saw Celtic Frost during their unfortunately very brief reunion period in the late 2000s, but some issues made it so I never got past the door. They split a few years later, and with Martin Eric Ain dead I'll never see them live.

    The art is based off a scene in the manga where the devil girl hits her friend and a random person with a car. She attempts to shift the blame on the human girl because the car actually belongs to her.

    I agree. When I went to the Church Christmas party it was crowded and loud. I liked it but I was socially and physically drained after. I fell asleep right away.

    Most cosplayers also use social media like instagram, so ask them for their tags too.=) If you take photos of them, its easier to ask them for their social media tags so you can load up the photos, tag them and say that it was a good time and you met lots of wonderful cosplayers etc. =D

    I think you're quite interesting, and I see no reason someone wouldn't like you, but try improving your odds by presenting a more confident version of yourself and trying to go meet people. Bet it'll help

    My debit card and other things got pickpocketed and l kept it together and canceled card without going into a complete meltdown. This is good, this shows progress.

    Many universities don't load the online course module content until the first day of the class.

    If you're registered in the registration portal, you're likely good to go, but as others noted, if you're concerned, feel free to check with the registrar and/or IT if that would bring you comfort.

    @Owliet The mother actually disciplined that kid as well as his brother. She just had a hard time catching them both.

    @tree I think so. My ears felt stuffy and couldn’t pick up on what some people were saying at first.
