    At the library I go to most often, the place to return books is right next
    to the front desk. Sometimes one of the people working the front desk
    immediately picks up the returns and takes them away, leaving the
    other person to mind the desk. There are generally 2 people at the desk.

    @tree The work area I am in became short staffed and the only other person who was still on the clock had to cover for someone upstairs so I was alone.

    What is a 'turn-in slot'?

    Is that like place near the front door or something?
    Our library has a built in drop area at the front door
    and a drop box (like a mail box) at the back door.

    And the wheeled shelf that sits next to the front desk,
    which I mentioned yesterday.

    My social security deposit came in. I used some of it to get some of my credit card paid off, put some in my savings account, and will use some to get my car’s oil changed.

    I just wiped out my credit card this week.Two years ago, l wiped out 9000 dollars in credit card debit. I am a lot happier not sitting with so much debit.

    I’ve read about halfway through Clive Barker’s The Great and Secret Show. Getting that far quickly with a book of its length is a new record for me.

    One of my ears still feels stuffy even after applying ear drops into it and attempting to flush it out with a bulb syringe.

    Sometimes it takes a few tries. Annoying though. Inner ear is so delicate.

    @Rodafina I’ve applied Debrox to it and it caused a burning sensation. I hope that means any bad bacteria that got in my ear was cleaned out.

    It really hurts me that there are those who don’t want me to be happy and think that I am dangerous to women when that isn’t true at all.
