What styles of clothing do you think best represent the two major fashion seasons?

I was wondering, if any styles of clothing best represent the two major fashion seasons (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter), what do you think they would be?

Here is what I think:
Spring/Summer - Interlock polo shirts, poplin button down shirts, swim trunks.
Fall/Winter - Pullover fleeces, sweaters, flannel shirts.

Spring/summer. Needle fine medium cotton skirts or lady trousers ( latter for those who hate skirts). Light jumpers, or sleeveless jumpers, with cardigan. Linen and cotton and viscose for summer and bright colours.

Autumn/winter. Similar to spring. Heavy cotton and junky jumpers and cardigans. Jumper dresses. Scarfs and gloves. But colourful without summer bright.

Summer is pretty much shorts and T shirts for all.

Fall is definitely the most stylish season, lots of earthtone fabrics in warm textures. Sweaters, shawls, coats, turtlenecks, hoodies and boots.

Winter is survival, fashion is pretty much out the window. Unless you're on the ski slopes.

Spring is either very brief or nonexistent here. It just means "still winter".

Well, there are four real seasons, but usually in the fashion world Spring and Summer are grouped together, and the same goes for Fall and Winter, with Spring/Summer usually containing most of the warm weather attire and Fall/Winter containing most of the cold weather attire. Some higher end brands also will have Pre-Fall and Resort/Cruise collections, with Pre-Fall generally being Fall-colored clothes in more lightweight fabrics, and Resort/Cruise typically being warm weather clothing designed for vacationers in the winter.

Spring Summer: Jeans, T-shirt, steel toe-capped boots, a hat to keep the sun off.
Autumn/Winter: Jeans, T-shirt, steel toe-capped boots, a hat to keep my head warm.

If it's personal choice, then ... well I wear the same black skirt, boots, t-shirt and black hoodie all year around. In the winter I treat myself to wearing my pleather motorbike jacket...

If it's the general/average population:

Spring/Summer: sleeveless shirts, sun hats, full-length lightweight cardigans, jeans
Autumn/Winter: long military style fitted coats, chunky knit cardigans or jumpers, heavier skirts or jeans
