Hello everyone! I am glad to be here, I have been diagnosed with Asperger's, and when I was young and I was always afraid to talk about it, but not anymore!

Thanks!
When I was initially diagnosed it was referred to as AS/HFA, in my case.
When joining the forum I think we were encouraged to choose a dx that we identify most closely with.
I chose HFA, as opposed to AS, because, after spending close to 3 years with AS peers, it became apparent to me that I lack a couple, major AS traits. Some of my AS peers insist that I do not have to possess those particular traits, but, I did, and still do feel that I differ, quite a bit, in those particular areas. That is the long of the short of it.
