    A big piece of what I have always wanted to do as a dog breeder is raise puppies to donate as service dogs to help survivors of abuse and violence, combat veterans with PTSD, people with rare diseases, and children and adults on the autism spectrum, among others. People are quick to look at the bad apples but there are still many that do a lot of good.

    Id like to train my own dog but for me thats not sustainable,the best way I could actually train dogs is for others or for a shelter as theres a lot of needy dogs that come with bad behavior issues and have more chances to be saved if some of those issues can be fixed.Ive trained randomly,dogs with issues.Dont like not having enough time with the dog daily to really imprint and sustain the behavior,things to try

    I slept on the couch for a total of like 2 hours, just got my period, had pizza for breakfast, and have to work in 15 minutes but really need to take a shower. This is my life. Lol

    @Shaddock Yeah, animals have "periods" too. Dogs and cats and most other mammals have heat cycles. And don't forget that humans are mammals. Lol

    I have just discovered sweet potato ice cream, and it probably sounds like it'd be weird but it is SO good and I'm really glad I bought some. For anyone else who is not picky with "exotic" foods it's definitely worth trying it!!

    I just saw a news bit about ketchup, baked beans, and mayonnaise flavored icecream. Sweet potato sounds way better than that.

    Had a hair appointment for the first time in… at least six months? I love getting my hair done. It’s so relaxing. Also got rid of a few months worth of split ends and she styled it differently. It’s pretty long now.

    Long hair needs to be trimmed every once in a while. It's so hard to give myself haircuts, exhausting and back aches. I found a style i can do by tying it up in certain ways and it layers it, Wolf Cut. But the thinning is still a skill to get better at.

    After reading some stuff, I think "age regression" from trauma is something that I'm probably dealing with.

    I've been going through something similar in the last year. Revisiting so many instances of my life that were less than pleasant. Just not sure if it has been therapeutic or not in my case. Then again maybe I'm just ruminating on steroids!

    When I was in a relationship with someone dealing with PTSD (though we didn't know it then) we would sometimes roleplay as parent and child, or as a cat and a child. I can see now, that it was probably an opportunity for her to live a carefree childhood she never really had.

    I have to work at 8am which means I should probably not be awake right now. I know I complain too much, but I hate sleeping because I'm basically playing Russian roulette with nightmares. I never know how bad they're going to be until I'm having one.

    Time to go to sleep :( Honestly the worst part of my day. I don't know why the nightmares have gotten so much more terrifying lately. It's gotten to the point that I have to sleep with total noise/light stimulation because I can no longer fall asleep when it's dark or quiet. I have tried pretty much every type of medication for this (with no results) but have not tried trazodone yet. Has anyone else used trazodone?

    because your nightmares don´t sound like normal nightmares, they sound more like a symptom of PTSD and I don´t think that normal things help on the long term. and medicaments also only help for a short amount of time I think and can cause addiction. therapy + medicaments would be the best probably.

    Yes, they are from PTSD. I’m currently in therapy for PTSD but nothing has been able to resolve the nightmares yet.

    can not say how you are in real life, but I doubt that I would find you annoying. I think when you recieve ratings on your posts, then only because people like what you said and when would be annoying, then noone would rate your posts (which does not vice versa mean that posts without ratings are not good)

    I think I would say it when it would be too much for me, but I would do it in a friendly and careful way and I´m sure that you would be considerate of others too. and when it´s too much for someone, than it has not evitable mean that you did something wrong. some people need more silence and some more activity.

    One of my friends accidentally sent a rude meme making fun of extroverts to a group chat that I’m in. I know it was about me because I’m the only extrovert in that group. It said extroverts should just shut up so introverts can live in peace. Nice to know that this is what my friends say about me when I’m not there.

I always feel ganged up on by this particular group of friends too because some of them have said things that were legitimately hurtful. I probably take things more personally than I should though and some of them probably just don't have a filter.

    It's hard for me to find people irl that I'm fully compatible with. And being an extrovert can be really frustrating because I often need to socialize with people who can match my energy level, and there are not many. But it's no one's fault!

    I know I'm crazy, but I think most of them are just passive people being manipulated by something most of the time. Not that many people can be pure evil... Right? That's at least better than thinking that they're doing it on purpose. But then again, I'm probably also wrong

    I don’t think people were that great in the past, but I also think various things in the present and near past are making people worse and worse; social media is making a lot of people worse but it’s exacerbating certain issues that people already have.

    I have a strong craving to socialize, but I have to take this craving and implement it in an appropriate form and way. little dosis and not too much at once, so people not get scared off lol. I think it´s much more difficult in talking, then in writing, but still.

    I think it´s subjective, but I also find pics of random body parts weird. or when they are made too close to the face.

    wild dogs or dog like animals like wolfs also don´t need a human who gives them orders. they can live on their own.

    I only understand that some dogs can do different professions/tasks when trained for that.

    He’s trained to “speak” with the buttons so I have a better understanding of what he wants so I can provide it to him better.
    The whole purpose of training dogs is so we have a better working relationship with each other. It benefits people and dogs. They are way smarter than people think!

    Cats and dogs have totally different instincts and personalities. Dogs have also been domesticated longer than cats. I don’t know a whole lot about cats but my friend who loves cats told me that he doesn’t think they’re fully domesticated.

    Parents: please be aware and careful of what your kids are doing on social media. I've heard too many stories lately about absolutely terrifying things happening as a result of children using apps like tiktok. I don't think anyone wants to see their kids end up in the situations that I was in as a child, and we didn't even have social media back then.

    Abuse, torture, human trafficking, and sexual assault are the most HORRIFIC things that can happen to a child and it will mess up the rest of their lives and give them crippling PTSD. Please don't let your kids post or view inappropriate content or give away their locations on social media. And that's without going down the rabbit hole of what tiktok and Instagram do to young people's mental health.

    @Luca I feel the same way. I had to deal with two insensitive older brothers who used to torment me because of my emotional sensitivity. Sometimes I wonder why certain people are empathetic while others can be so cold. Unfortunately, that’s the way it is. So, I decided that I am not going to let people like that bother me. I regard empathy as a gift. And you have this beautiful gift.
