I used to take prazosin (medication specifically for night terrors) and it worked temporarily but didn't continue to work. I will not take ambien or anything like that, and I won't take Nyquil because I had a seizure after trying a similar medication but can't prove that it was related. A few people have recommended trazodone and said that it knocks them out and they don't dream.

have you done a PTSD therapy? maybe doing another one? in germany it´s called "tiefenpsychologisch fundierte therapie" (deep funded therapy), which is different from the normal behavorial therapy, a therapy designed for PTSD so far I know.
