Not surprisingly, I woke up having a panic attack, so now I have too much adrenaline in my system go to back to sleep. Plus literally all my dogs are on top of me on the couch right now. One is trying to block my keyboard. I will post a picture in a second lol

Lol. It was a sports bra! If it was a regular bra I would've definitely put a shirt on. I work out in a sports bra when it's really hot outside (a lot of girls do) so it's not that bad.
But it was still embarrassing because I had to talk to a police officer while wearing a sports bra and no shoes.

Its quite close to what we do here when the earthquake alarm sounds. And we neither. cant sleep after that.

Now its a great time to learn about fires, how to react, what to include in your emergency backpack, and all that prepper stuff. :)

what is condo complex and do you have earthquake alarms in america? what is that? is that another alarm besides the fire alarm? in germany we usually only have smoke detectors in our appartment, which makes loud sound when there is fire (or battery is low (I fear that)). but it´s usually not connected to the fire brigade). and we usually don´t have earthquakes.

Mexico City has a earthquake alarm. We have sensors in many places of the country. So when some of them start moving crazy a signal is sent to the City and the alarm sounds. The electrical signal travels faster than the earthquake so we may have some minutes to get the kids, forget the security backpack and exit our homes.

@Shaddock Condos are small houses that are usually structured like apartments. We have a fire alarm that goes off for the whole block of houses because they are technically attached.
If our alarm goes off, the fire department shows up, although that is true of some single houses in America too.

is it true that american house walls are not more than cardboard or very thin and fragile? in movies people can destroy them with their fist. in germany we have wood, stone or concrete I think, but I´m not really an expert in this. our problem is that we have lots of houses from 60s or even from 40s and they are crappy (noisy and not energy-saving) and less new houses.
