What was the last movie you watched?

Pirates of the Caribean; Curse of the black pearl.

Playing Monkey Island got me in a slight Pirate kick. Let's hope I don't start rambling like one. The rum might be nice though
 
There was a TV adaptation of the stage version of Sweeney Todd, with Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury that was on PBS several years ago. I still think the original cast was still the best.

I have a love-hate relationship with Kubrick, but this is definitely on the love side. :cool:
 
Born into Brothels. It is about children whose mothers work as prostitutes. The the children were really interested in the camera of the filmaker so she started teaching them photography and tries to get them into a boarding school.

I thought it was very good, i did kind of want more from it though about the kids, their photos were beautiful. It was rather sad though and I did cry.
 
The Secret World of Arrietty

It was adorable, and the did a terrific job animating the little girl. The range of facial expressions they conveyed with so few lines was astounding.
 
Wreck-it Ralph

The amount of allusions to videogames in it was awesome. Quite sure that this is one of the few pixar movies that has a targeted demographic more than any other of their movies. Quite sure if you haven't been into videogames in the 80's and early 90's, this movie has a lot of random stuff going on which makes one wonder what's it doing in there.

The story itself... meh. But I kinda expected that. But because of the nostalgia factor I enjoyed it
