What was the last movie you watched?

We recorded it and watched all three episodes at once. It was a little over two hours long when fast forwarding through the commercials. It had enough historical accuracy for me and drama for my wife. We both enjoyed it.

The only think that bothered me was that it abruptly stopped at a earlier point in time given the longevity of the company. I guess they wanted to end on a positive note...which understandable from a perspective of entertainment versus history.

But then we all still know the brand survived to this very day. :)

The model ships in that one were pretty good. Quite physically accurate to the actual Japanese warships.

Classic John Wayne picture. :) Last one I saw not too long ago was "They Were Expendable". The Duke manning PT Boats in WW2.

Truth of the matter is that the Knucklehead at the end of the movie was the last project the original founders worked on as a team. That in my opinion is a great way to showcase their original history.

The Japanese deal they outlined was about the Rikuo Internal Combustion Company deal they cut early in their timeline during the great depression.

West Chester University of PA vs the Slimy Pebble (aka Slippery Rock University of PA). Of course, the Slimy Pebble won. (Slippery Rock is a perennial powerhouse in The West division of the Pa Collegiate Athletic Conference.
 
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates - A surprisingly funny movie. If you'd have told be Zac Efron and Adam DeVine could convincingly play brothers I would have thought you were crazy, but they pull it off.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping - It sucked. I like Andy Samberg in Brooklyn Nine Nine and I like The Lonely Island, including the soundtrack to this movie, but the movie itself was pointless. It was a long list of clichés and every single one has been done better in other films.
 
Sausage Party 6/10, gets ab extra point for featuring the best song ever, I'd do anything for love (But I won't do that) by Meat Loaf.

Bridget Jones' Baby 8/10, good story, good acting, gorgeous Baby at the end.
 
Aliens. A classic to this day, one of the greatest action sci-fi movies of all time IMO. The Alien franchise is one of those rare media franchises to have entries in both the horror and action genres while nailing both.

Yeah - too bad the later movies didn't match up to the quality of the first two.

I like Aliens as an action movie but think it's an awful Alien movie, am I alone? To me Alien will always be best, followed by Alien 3, Prometheus, Aliens, Alien Resurrection. I find it interesting that James Cameron has taken a sci-fi/horror and turned it into an action movie twice with Aliens and his own Terminator movies.
