What song are you listening to right now?

I used to play this album endlessly. I was listening to it once on a flight, as the plane prepared to land in Miami. So I was looking at all these little lights in the darkness, listening to:

Music can become visceral, embedded in our senses or memories of time and place.

I have some flight-memory songs too, especially pre-tech when there were prerecorded channels of music in the armrest and we had to buy cheap, tangled earphone sets from the flight crew.

Olivia Newton John’s “Xanadu” comes to mind lol, and the first time I heard Foo Fighters “Learn to Fly” was on a flight to Los Angeles. I can still feel the plane tilting softly side to side in turbulence just like the video, which I’d attach in this post if I wasn’t technologically inept at multitasking on a phone. :airplane:
