It's probably an accurate statement that MOST people have not accidentally put foot powder on their cheerios.

I did.
Only time I ever heard my mother really swear when I was a kid - she reached in to the bathroom cabinet without her glasses on and started brushing her teeth with Dencorub. :)
 
One time my girlfriend leaned over to kiss me, but she closed her eyes too soon, and wound up trying to kiss my eye, and got a fluttering eyelid. She found it very surprising.

I haven't heard the driving advice. I think snow only happens occasionally in way north Florida.
