Pain Threshold

I've broken my wrist, without so much as a peep.
When I have a cold though (Right now) I turn in to a whiny child .

My pain threshold is higher than average because nurses and physiotherapists have told me many times. I don't complain in part cause I win nothing doing it but also because I generally don't find it that painful.

I can't stand a light touch and insist on "Man hugs" but I throw out ribs and bruise my knees all the time and its nothing.

For me, it seems to depend. I can't stand wearing high heels, as they hurt my feet, my back, and often give my highly sensitive skin blisters, but when I fractured a bone several years ago, I didn't even feel it :P
