Hi guys!
My name is Megan. I'm 16, a highschool junior, and professionally diagnosed with Aspergers in the 5th grade. Can't remember how old I was then, doesn't matter much?
My special interests right now are cats, the sims 4, mythbusters, and kind of steven universe. I'm just starting on the path of becoming more involved in the autistic community and it's been wonderful so far!
I'd love to talk to any of you guys, especially but not only if you have similar special interests!

I've had 6 cats at one time, I love cats.. all animals, really - swans and ducks at the moment :)
 
Welcome and hope you have a good experience here. The closest I come to your specials is animals is dogs, but that isn't very close. :D My only childhood pet was a stray cat we took in however, and I was very close to her. :)
 
Welcome! I am not on the spectrum but am almost 'spectrum approved'. :P I'm still working on that. I'm also more like your Mom's age but I'm young at heart, & my 17 year old niece thinks I'm okay. (We're pretty close actually.) I also love all animals but am partial to cats - well, my cats made me write that! (I used to be 'in charge' at home but since they outnumber us I've been demoted.) There are MANY cat lovers on AC so you will fit right in! There are also quite a few teens. So welcome Onism! :catface:
 
Hi! Nice to meet you guys. 6 cats sounds like a dream to me. The most I've ever had are 4!
I'm also pretty happy with dogs, although certainly not on the same levels. I like Golden Retrievers and big fluffy dogs! My favorite teacher used to have a big samoyed dog that loved me a lot. She was very cute!

Thanks guys! I'd love to talk to you any time about mythbusters, IrishAspie, although I'm afraid it's more of a vehement passion than something I know a lot about!
