If I take the test answering the questions as I currently am, I get different results different days. INTP is probably the most common (I think) but ISTJ, INTJ, INFP, ENFP, and ISFP are quite common as well. If I answer the questions like we're true during early childhood (younger than 10), I almost always get ENFP or occasionally ESFP even though I was already obsessed with science experiments.

I am a total INFP in every way.

Another one I match up with is the Homeopathic constitution type- Pulsatilla. Taking Pulsatilla as a tonic helps me be healthy and happy.

I am (very) informally gathering some statistics on this. (Perhaps “statistics” is too grand a word - call it confirmation-bias-affirming anecdotal “evidence”. ) I have tested repeatedly (yes, work related) as INTP. I have seen a number of autists with similar backgrounds mentioning they have also landed on INTP. It might be interesting to explore why.

There's a wise man among other wise men called Prophet Mohammed, if you care, he has an expression: "Knowledge is the lost property of a Believer".

I'm INFP and @FayetheAspie analysis is very accurate based on my Fi-Te called function pair somewhere. But in the past I was ISTJ and i feel i've been running around like a horse, chasing illusions. People don't talk to me online nor offline, because i occupy a wierd spot for INFPs. Death and, they say melancholy.

So ASD 1 are "morbid". INFP capture a partof that morbidity. All MBTI types are for normal people, not autists or ADHD.

However i'm primarily Dominant Fi user (inverted Introverted Feeler). As INFP. Or heck, an ISTJ! How your MBTI turns out to be depends on your development or luck because it's a matter of preferences, not some intellectual gadget that will output answers for you.

MBTI 16 types has 8 cognitive functions each person. There are 16 combinations as it is set up, the difference is the order the cognitive functions set up.

THeir is a poll on this site search INTP. your right unusual high number of us are INTP our brains are wired for science and math.

MBTI is not taken too seriously academically. I'm either INTP or INFP, however not a big fan of psychology in general.
