Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy - Avant Pop

ECM has some of the best sound quality. I wish all music releases sounded this good.

The music is covers of Whitney Houston, Parliament, Willie Nelson, and others. It's extremely playful. The members of the Art Ensemble of Chicago seemed to create this stuff so easily. They manage to usurp history, instead of becoming post-modern, absorbing it into their own expression. It makes the deconstructions of post-punk sound extremely tentative and amateur.
 
Rihanna Anti album. The song desperado been on repeat for the last week.
And Meg Myers songs and some Billie Elish. It’s all on a playlist. A self made album of sorts
 
I listened to all of Paerish's last album again. That's just a solid one, and they've released some b-sides that are just as good. They are a very underrated band.
