Is anyone writing music?

I am a brass player (cornet, french horn, trumpet, flugel horn, in that order) and have been writing classical type music (choral, brass band, ensemble, solo, etc). I have written a musical play based on my family history. A kind friend who is a retired music teacher helped me to revise the harmony theory I had forgotten from forty years ago so that I could enter music in competitions. A choral association in northern Italy has offered to publish one piece on their website. I wonder if anyone else is attempting something similar. We could be mutually supportive.

Hello there! I'm glad to find someone else involved in classical music. May I have some of your works? Similarly, I'm a composer/keyboardist.
