Hi, my name is Justin. I joined this forum because I think I'm on the spectrum. After taking the AQ test with a score of 31 and the RAADS-R test with a score of 174, along with finding about how I was when I was a child it seemed to me that how "I am" could finally be explained. After doing more research I came to the conclusion that I most likely have an AS brain.

In joining this forum my main goal would be to read about other people's experiences to see if they match up with mine. So far on other sites it seems to be the case but I'd feel more sure of myself if others with AS, or are knowledgeable about it, could help me by pointing me in the right direction.

Right now I'm changing jobs and don't have health insurance to see a specialist. If I can get a diagnoses then my thinking is that I can have a solid place to work from and I won't have to wonder or guess anymore.

Welcome to the forum! Hope you can find some useful info here, and good luck on getting your diagnosis! :)

Hey welcome! It was nice seeing you in chat! Hope to see you around and that you like it here.

@SusanLR In the past day I've learned more about myself than the past year. There are so many posts that I agree with or were written as if someone had read my mind. It's truly astounding. I feel better knowing that there are people that are like me. When I signed up to this forum I had no idea what to expect but I'm very glad I did.

Hi & Welcome,
Reading about autism, seeing a few relatives with it, was 1/2 the equation for me. Hanging out on Aspie forums for a while provided the rest of the answer. I learned many HFAs only match some of the symptom charts. There is a lot of variation.
