I usually do not hate spiders, but there is one spider I hate. A nasty and vicious and mean bug that bit my left hand while I was sleeping.

Save all the spiders except for that one.

Benadryl has been my friend the last couple of days.
 
Spider are Weak according to Allah, the weakest houses are the houses of spiders, in that house the Black Widow eat her husband, and the eggs (children) eat their Mom

But "Spider-Man" is a strange word. I like spider-man (look).
 
I had brown recluses living inside of a CRT recently. RIP TV, you will be missed.

Oddly, I've had a lot of them around here and they're not quite as dangerous as most people believe. Weird, huh?

These symptoms are all good. You shouldn't treat them. Sneezing is great too. . I stop only at itchy eyes, because it makes sense regarding Corona virus transmission from (edit) hands to eyes.

You'd have a tough time living here, this is the most common spider we get in our houses. And in our cars, they get everywhere.

Brown recluse bites cause necrosis. The venom kills flesh. I know a guy who was bit on his back while crawling under a house. He was hospitalized. The bite caused a hole in his back the size of my fist. They are extremely dangerous.

Yep. We have the brown recluse here in the Metropolitan Reno-Tahoe area. I also recall finding a black widow in my bathroom when I lived in Sacramento. Not the spiders you want to casually encounter under any circumstances.

Luckily Washington does not appear to have the brown recluse. But they do have three other common, but poisonous spiders. The black widow, the hobo spider and the black-footed yellow sac spider.

For all the allergies my brother and I have, while living in the Seattle area, I don't think we were bitten by anything. Not even mosquitoes. We must have lived a charmed life back then. Go figure.

More likely, can't it have also been simply a bite by a non-venomous spider or an insect ?

I'm glad the spiders where I live aren't dangerous. All spiders are venomous, but most kinds are not able to even pierce your skin.
 
I remember when I was on holiday in Wales this year. Got into bed. Felt something odd, looked under sheets

Giant house spider scurrying around like mad.

Not sure I've ever got out from a bed so quickly. Didn't hurt it though. Put it in a glass and let it outside.
