The Adventure that Brought Surprises
Huxley met a traveler who said he came from The North. In the darkness of Night, the traveler presented Huxley with a very important task and a most precious thing…
A dragon egg from the northern lands of ice and snow and majesty. The traveler said the egg fell from the stars and landed in the snow, all alone. Inside the egg was a creature who was also all alone, and she would need a mentor and a friend. So Huxley and the traveler tended to the egg, keeping it cold until the creature within was ready to join the world. You see, some eggs need to be kept warm, but every dragon is unique and you never know when really, the egg must be kept cold. We can never assume that all dragons are the same.
Not too many days later, the egg began to shake and the snow beneath it began to quake and then the shell began to break. And Huxley and the traveler met Stella. A little lost dragon from a place of frozen and beautiful light.
She arrived in the world with ancient knowledge of the stars and the snow, but still, she has much to learn and will need a true friend to know that she is not alone.
