I learnt the concept of friendship year's ago, and so, now I have 2 what I call friends and 1 who has great potential for being a friend.
 
Like everyone else, how to define friend, but I would say that I know lots of people in various areas of my life that I interact within... And many of those people I would consider friends...

Close friends are far fewer... When I go out there are lots of people I meet who I know, who I have gotten to know and interact with... In the local arts and culture scene... In the summertime at car shows... At church... At a local flea market I frequent...
