Highly functioning autism or just a strange behavior in my 10 year old?...

@newhere, just another point of view. I think I was considered disruptive in elementary school - not outrageously so, but enough to concern some teachers. I believe I was 2e (Twice exceptional. There was commonly no ASD diagnosis in those days.) The teacher would explain something: me, “OK, got that” then she would repeat, reinforce etc. for other pupils. Me, “already got that, boring” and I would daydream or worse, chat with my friends. They would move me around the classroom, away from my friends, to try to stop this. There may have been discussions with my parents, to which I was not a party. The next year (last two years before high school) I was moved to another school for accelerated learning.
I just bring this up as perhaps another perspective on any difficulties your daughter may be having in interacting with her teachers.
