Hi there.

hi everyone. I'm new. I guess that's obvious. I've joined a few Aspie forums in the last few days because my therapist recommended I try and get some tips on surviving life and socialising etc from people who know. She's identified strong Aspie type traits in my behaviour although she thinks I probably don't tick enough of the boxes to be fully Aspie, I mostly have the obsessive interests and severe social, communication and friend making problems. I'm not sure whether I self identify as Aspie yet, although I'm certain I'm on the spectrum because so much of what I've read and the YouTube videos I've seen, so much of that stuff rings true, so it's great to finally feel I may have found people like me.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi....hi!

Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy this friendly community.
Best wishes.

Welcome! We don't care if someone "officially has Aspergers" or not; we're happy to have anyone who might share any of our troubles and experiences, or those close to one who does. Good to have you aboard. :)

Hi & Welcome,
You may be like a lot of us, that have many but not all traits of HFA. One common occurance is a special liking for animals which we can relate to easier then people. I have 4 dogs myself. :D
