Hello! does this happen to anyone else when you "wear" names according to how you feel?
In any case, my name at the time is Lain. Pleased to meet you.
My diagnosis is in progress, but my therapists agre that I'm definitely autistic, tho it seems i have traits of ADHD. The diagnnosis isn't written down on a fancy piece of paper for now, but they have have made it clear that I am ND, and they're helping me taking my neurodivergence into account in therapy. And it's doing wonders for me! Both in my day to day functions and my mental health. I think this diagnosis changed my life for the better.
So I wanted to ask you guys a question. I seem to always, ALWAYS, need to have my left hand busy. If i dont use my fidget toy it goes to pick my lips, which i had thought was dermatilomania (cause i also pick my face every time i look into the mirror), but now I realized that it just needs to be busy with anything it can find. If i don't keep it busy i feel very uncomfortable for some reason.
The question is, does this happen to any of you? I'm curious cause this discovery of why i picked my lips and it being so easy to solve has me lowkey baffled. Do any of you have a hand or a limb that needs to be stimming all the time?
Thought that question would fit well in an introduction post cause it can spark some conversation, hope you don't mind.
Thanks for reading and have a nice day~

i felt so bad for him. i do have whiteouts but they're very rare, i most often feel like im in the back seat of a car that has all the windows frosted or with raindrops and you can't see much of the outside. i know it flares up in moments of stress, and i know i dont need to have an extremely severe case to have it, it's just that i have never felt validated so i just stopped talking about it. my newest psych does ask about them and treats them with respect, which is nice, but i still feel like i dont deserve to put a name on it. so i just say i have dissociatve episodes and never talk about my headmates.
