Hello! :)

Hi everyone, my name is Kara. I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was pretty young but I am still finding out new things about it every day. Just the other day I found out that a lack of imagination is common in people with ASD—I just thought everyone wasn't very creative, for some reason. I decided to join to find out more about myself, about my condition, and to meet new people like me. :)

Welcome, Kara!

Although a lack of imagination may be common in autistic people, I feel as though I have a surplus of imagination! My imagination is very vivid and feels like a movie in my head.

I am not sure its one way or another. Or in other words it is not a defining feature of HFA. Some have described themselves the way you do and others say they are very imaginative.

Ahoy thickpeen! Welcome to the group! I'm sure you'll fit right into the fold:) There are lots of things to learn here. Don't worry, I'm sure you're plenty creative;).

Stick around and enjoy!
