Extended Time In Space Alters Your Genes?

Astronaut Scott Kelly's DNA changed in space and his identical twin proves it
When I read this version, last week,
the words "other than that" really stood out,
to me, in the story.


"Researchers now know that 93% of Scott’s genes returned to normal after landing.

However, the remaining 7% point to possible longer term changes in genes related to his immune system, DNA repair, bone formation networks, hypoxia, and hypercapnia.

Other than that, scientists have said they feel very optimistic........."
 
I do know that prolonged weightlessness causes loss of bone density. I’ll have to read the article later :)
