Eating ( or not)

Fantastic news Jamse. :D

I didn't expect her to respond this fast. I am glad she has started asking for food and eating a bit more. I hope she continues like this. Do keep us updated.

Thank you
I will keep you updated
It's quite a horrible feeling as a parent not constantly offering food but like you said before that's may well have been the problem for her.

Sometimes love requires self-restraint-sometimes even restraint form actions which would seem to be loving actions.

Cool beans! I guess the next step will be finding out how often you can bring a new food in to play without stressing her.

I feel a wee silly for not seeing the obvious too. I've been told many times before that "when you hear hoofbeats, think horses and not zebras". Eliminate the simple possibilities before moving on to the complex ones, in this case the variety rather than the quantity.

My son has this times too... but he didnt drink milk anymore (well he has 7 now and almost verbal)... grape soy juice. He just refuse everythink realted to milk. And its like that... just one food for time.

But from time to time, he just refuse something and it take ages to back again... no pressure and a lot of creativity is the key.

Hi all
Me again.
Another one about my three year old.
She doesn't and has never eaten. She lives on cows milk and is very healthy. Only now she has been referred to gosh ( children specialist hospital London) about her eating.
So a many of you are probably already thinking No there is no way she could ever cope with going there. She can only cope for a very short period with anyone coming into her own home before a meltdown. So basically gosh is never going to happen.
Obviously we are desperate for her to eat.
Have/did any of you not eat as youngsters but found a way to eat discover food.
We have spent way to much money ( it doesn't matter) on different foods but all to no avail
She is extreme hyper oral
Advice contributions gratefully received as always and
How do I like a post?
We have this issue with my baby brother.
Unfortunately, I can't give much advice except to bend to what she wants but to also encourage new meals.
