Clowns in the Woods

I had a look at it, read some of the article, and got to this line and had to stop:

He's bullied and killed after a prank goes wrong. He turns into a clown - and with the help of several others - is bullied and then killed after a prank goes wrong.

Something tells me that's not quite the sequence of events in the movie.
 
Interesting. I doubt I will be able to find it to watch it, but I will keep my eye out just in case.
