18 fictional foods and drinks that really exist...

Have you ever pined for some of the snacks eaten in your favorite TV shows and movies? Well don’t worry, a lot of them exist in real life too.

Here we round up some of the best on-screen food and drink you can actually get your hands on.

True Blood
Ok, so it’s not actually ‘true blood’, but it is a blood orange soda that looks like a lot like blood. That’s good enough, right?
Since the TV show True Blood has marketed and sold it as a branded product, the cost of buying one of these has become pretty expensive.
You can get yourself a bottle for around $40 on eBay. Or, if you really love it, you could pay $135 (£103) for a pack of four – no one’s judging.

Scooby Snacks
For a cool $20 (£15) on Amazon, you can buy four packs of Scoobie snacks, which, despite originally being designed for our old canine pal Scooby-Doo, can now be eaten by humans too.
In Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, aka the third Scooby-Doo film, Shaggy reveals his secret recipe for the snack, but with that containing dog kibble, we’d imagine these are a lot tastier.

Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper
It’s not all bad though, as you can still get your hands on some of the other Wonka snacks, such as the Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper, which will only set you back around $2 (£1.50) on Amazon.
But just how long does it really last?

Harry Potter chocolate frogs
These little chocolate frogs from Harry Potter have been so popular that fans even managed to ensure Warner Bros was using Fair Trade chocolate to be in keeping with the wizard’s values.
Each pack contains a milk chocolate frog with crisped rice and comes with a free wizard card.
The price varies depending on the supplier, but you’ll usually have to pay around $4 (£3) online.

Duff Beer
Based on the iconic beer drunk by characters in The Simpsons, this Duff Beer is for adults only as the little red cans contain strong lager. It’s not quite as American as its Simpsons counterpart though, because the beer itself is actually German – but that’s OK, we all know German beer is great.

Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans
The same Potter-branded range also produces bags of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, which come in every flavor ranging from blueberry to earwax, rotten egg and vomit – the brand certainly sticks to its word!
You can purchase a box of three packs on the online Harry Potter shop for $13.80 (£10.50).

Butter Beer
If you’d rather not risk eating an earwax flavored jelly bean, you have also got the option to sip on some Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer as seen in the movies.
Traditionally, it was served in cold bottles and hot in ‘foaming tankards’, but it’s probably not a great idea to try heating it up.
Unfortunately, The Three Broomsticks (where it is served in the movies) isn’t a real shop, but you can purchase a pack of six on Amazon for around $25 (£19).

South Park Cheesy Poofs
Die hard South Park fans will probably remember when Cheesy Poofs were first mentioned, but for those who don’t, the cheese puffs were featured a few times in the first season, before disappearing as the show began to evolve.
But just in case you’ve been pining after them ever since, some packs were sold when the show turned 15 in 2011.
You’re likely to be set back around $12.50 (£9.52) for a bag on eBay.

Frrrozen Hot Chocolate
As well as being a huge American restaurant, Serendipity III was also the setting for romantic comedy movie Serendipity back in 2001.
In one scene, you’ll catch John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale sipping on some of Serendipity III Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, which you can buy a canister of on Amazon for $23.99 (£18).

Krusty O’s cereal
Also promoting The Simpsons brand is a box of Frosted Krusty O’s cereal, endorsed by the show’s character Krusty the Clown.
If you’ve seen it featured in the TV show, you’ll know there was a famous saga in which Bart swallowed a “jagged metal Krusty-O”.
But don’t worry, the free prize inside is nothing as suspicious as this, it’s probably just a sticker. Prices for one of these boxes range from $5-$45 (£4-£37) on eBay, but may also still be available in some 7-Eleven stores across the US.

Romulan Ale energy drink
This Star Trek inspired energy drink, manufactured by Boston America, is designed to simulate Romulan Ale, which should, in theory, provide a boost of energy coupled with a “delicious berry taste”.

Stay Puft Marshmallows
Inspired by Ghostbuster’s Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, these bite-sized puffed marshmallows aren’t exactly a life-sized replica of the giant paranormal snowman, but they are just as squidgy looking, and will supposedly make you want to drool down your grey boiler suit.
You can usually get hold of a pack of these sweet treats at Urban Outfitters, Hastings Entertainment, ThinkGeek and Amazon.

Key lime slime Twinkies
Sticking to the Ghostbusters theme, some Key Lime Slime Twinkies have been produced to honor the release of the latest Ghostbusters film.
For a limited time, the gory looking cakes are available on Amazon and other supermarkets.

Krabby Patties
These aren’t exactly replicas of the real SpongeBob Krabby Patties, mainly because they are sweets rather than real burgers, but it is SpongeBob’s favorite food, so it would only be right to celebrate it in some way.
You can get packs of patties on Amazon for around $12 (£9), but they are likely to be cheaper in local stores.

Slurm energy drink
Futurama fans will remember this energy drink from the Fry and Slurm Factory episode of the TV show back in 1999. But off-screen, it is also now available for fans on Amazon for around $24.99 (£19).
Due to high demand and lack of remaining energy drink, prices continue to rise, so it’d be worth snatching up one sooner rather than later if you want a ‘highly addictive’ sugar rush.

Pepsi Perfect
To celebrate Back to the Future day in 2015, Pepsi released 6,500 bottles of Pepsi Perfect to appease fans who remember the vitamin-enriched variety of Pepsi cola that was served at Café 80s in the film.
However, these limited edition bottles quickly ran out and the competition is now high for people wishing to buy a bottle online, expect to pay over $131 (£100) on eBay.

Game of Thrones Wine
Don’t think we’ve forgotten about you, Game of Thrones fans.
The HBO fantasy has inspired a lot of memorabilia thus far, from cookbooks to t-shirts, but now that the latest season of GOT is over, you can drown your sorrows with some new Cersei-style wines. Sold by Wines of Westeros, you can get a bottle of The Arryn Sauvignon Blanc, or The Dothraki Merlot, along with 12 other Australian wines from around $20 (£11).

Wonka Bar
Most of us will have seen the Wonka brand in high street stores, but the original wonka bar is a little harder to come across.
The bar, which appeared in both Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, was manufactured into different varieties in the real world by Willy Wonka Candy Company – a division of Nestlé.
However, they were soon discontinued due to poor sales, so they're a little harder to get hold of these days.
