1 fun thing I did today

I've been working on my car for months. Today I removed the brake drums to check for rust, and the job went far easier than I had expected. Every other day had brought new challenges, some taking weeks to resolve.

A while back, I stuffed empty ice cream buckets with boiled straw and local oyster mushroom-cloned spawn, and today I harvested my first oyster bouquet:

I left for work early and I had time to get an extra coffee and take some photos of a beautiful garden I’ve been wanting to see.

I went on an adventure to photograph a duck and it took a very long time, but it was very fun.

No ducks, but a nice spot for me and my dog and my dragon to spend some time.

I made someone cry today. It is her birthday today. I invited her to my place and said happy birthday and gave her a present, a potting bench. And after a while, when she thought that was all and she was going home again, some people I knew she would be happy to see suddenly arrived and ran into the room and hugged her and wished her happy birthday. And I pulled out a huge cake I had hidden. Surprise :D 🥳

And then she started crying. But it was happy crying. 😄 So that was fun.
I think it was a success.

FINALLY

Able to play my first two handed harp tune where lefty and righty each have to do completely different things at the exact right time.

And now, suddenly, it feels so ooo easy.

Told a funny story that another customer reminded me of that the proprietress could also appreciate. I know why comedians say either that they died or they killed.

I’m doing the final inspection today of my new digs! Settle next wednesday. Super EXCITING and super tiring. All the tasks to get to this point have been wiping me out. Takes the shine of it.

Discovered that watching streaming media provides a consistently better picture at 1920 x 1080p than does watching anything comparable through my cable box.

Ironically my cable provider offers my cable plan through a channel through Roku, so now I access that and leave the cable box as just a large digital clock and little else.

So now my cable television broadcasts are just as sharp without so much pixelization and inconsistent signal strength.
