Look. It’s a start so far
I fell asleep at 6pm after getting home from my doctor's appointment, so here I am awake at 4am again...
I feel more comfortable posting clear pictures of my face on here now. I have just always found myself kind of ugly lol. I have bushy black eyebrows, thick hair, a square jaw, an overbite, and eczema, and I'm not skinny. But I have learned that it's inner beauty that counts. It doesn't matter how conventionally attractive people are if they're not kind.
Most of my irl friends never want to talk to me. I text them and they don’t respond. Then I get a message 10 hours later saying “Sorry, I fell asleep” which I know is bullcrap because I texted them at 9 in the morning!
Nothing I accomplish is ever enough for my parents. They make me feel like I've never done anything important at all. I'm not asking for them to throw me a huge parade every time I'm successful at something, but a bit of acknowledgement more than just "That's nice" and talking about it for 5 seconds before dropping the subject entirely, would be a start. They're not the cause of my bad self-esteem but they don't help

I'm handling a dog in a pretty big obedience competition on the 28th... a dog that is not one of my own! This should be interesting... I think the last time I handled someone else's dog in a competition was years ago. But this dog is one that I have a great connection with (he's a Border collie)
Update: I reported it to the NTSB and called a local airport. Hopefully nothing bad is happening and they were just circling because they couldn’t land yet. Will find out in the morning.
There’s a pretty bad storm here. Got a local news notification that there is an aircraft circling above my neighborhood that seems to be in trouble. I can see it out my window. I’m going to notify the coast guard. I’ve never experienced something like this, this is scary.
