In that case, stop holding the big umbrella over yourself.

    (This is a metaphor.)
I wish I could enjoy My Hero Academia and Spy x Family without the voices of certain fans of both series talking down on me.

Damn it Markness! Go into the back of your head, and silence the little voices of those with no right to make complaint. Then turn yourself loose to actually enjoy life.
How are you beating yourself up like this over Japanese shows that most people have never heard of?

It's entirely OK to like what you like, if you like something good, and then enjoy it. I have heard of men who dated girls who were conventionally unattractive & then turned them down because they were afraid what other men would think. You have a few minor detractors, but the worst detractors are the little voices in your head. Silence them.
My head feels hot from both the weather and frustration over being unable to move forward.

Is the Voc. Rehab. appointment still on for tomorrow?

    It is.
I was interviewed by HR in regards to the person at work who I have a bad history with.

    How'd that go?

They listened to me and were supportive.

Consider that an absolute win then for yourself, I would have been a little unnerved. Good work.
Saw a book called Late Bloomers at B&N. I can’t afford it right now but I’ll look through it.

    By Rich Karlgaard?

    That’s the author.

I read the intro and most of the first chapter.

That sounds like a good book. Did you like it? I kinda miss Barnes and Nobles. There isn't one here.
Society sees me as a throwaway.

Society sees everyone as a throwaway. That doesn't mean you don't deserve happiness, however.

Society was created to help people survive better.

If it makes you feel like that it doesn't serve its purpose. You don't need to belong to a cutthroat, cruel society.

Yeah, in the USA disabled people are seen as useless eaters, never mind that nobody will hire a developmentally disabled person because they don't "add value to the company". I finally realized that if I wanted to be productive I had to grow my own food and live as a hermit.
I still feel like a loser after seeing someone get a date so easily while I can not.

I don’t know. I’ve made attempts to date but they fizzle out on me.

I honestly don’t like questions like the third one in your message.

It's not hard to imagine that you don't enjoy thinking about
whether comparing yourself to others has helped you much.

There's one person that it makes sense to be in competition with:
    yourself.

Most attempts are going to fizzle out if you're a guy, it's not just you. Your only issue is that you seem to be hell-bent on calling yourself a loser and giving up.
The repair man got the AC fixed faster than expected so I could’ve had the appointment for Vocational Rehab. Now I have to wait until the 10th.

    OK. Bro.
The heat was "killing you" a few days ago. Now you have working air-conditioning. Pass this off as a positive. It will cost you $0 to see it that way, and should make a world of difference in the long run.

Is the Voc. Rehab. appointment still on for the 10th?
The appointment for Vocational Rehab is delayed yet again due to a malfunctioning AC unit at home.
    tree
    tree
Sure I saw you say that the air conditioning at home wasn't working right. That doesn't
automatically lead to an assumption that you'd be called upon to put a halt to your
plans and be the gate keeper for repair people.

I am too shy to ask women out on dates. :(

If you are shy, are you too shy to reply if one was to say yes?
    Yes, you are.
Any reply, yes or no, still means You Asked, and that is a sight more than what you're doing lately.
