    Parents: please be aware and careful of what your kids are doing on social media. I've heard too many stories lately about absolutely terrifying things happening as a result of children using apps like tiktok. I don't think anyone wants to see their kids end up in the situations that I was in as a child, and we didn't even have social media back then.

    Abuse, torture, human trafficking, and sexual assault are the most HORRIFIC things that can happen to a child and it will mess up the rest of their lives and give them crippling PTSD. Please don't let your kids post or view inappropriate content or give away their locations on social media. And that's without going down the rabbit hole of what tiktok and Instagram do to young people's mental health.

    A neighbor’s fire alarm just made me jump out of my skin. It stopped going off after less than 30 seconds though. It’s bad enough that I’m making dinner at 2:30 in the morning.

    I’m so damn tired of people telling me I’m too sensitive and that I’m weak because I get offended by stuff. I’m a sensitive, empathetic person. It’s not my fault that no one feels empathy anymore.

    @Luca I feel the same way. I had to deal with two insensitive older brothers who used to torment me because of my emotional sensitivity. Sometimes I wonder why certain people are empathetic while others can be so cold. Unfortunately, that’s the way it is. So, I decided that I am not going to let people like that bother me. I regard empathy as a gift. And you have this beautiful gift.

    I winned, but everyone looked a bit pissed at me. but I was the only one who played the game correctly. and it riled me that they were so bad loosers. I have no problem to loose in a game. it´s just a game. lol.

    I was hanging out with one of my best friends and her kids today, plus all my dogs and one extra kid (another friend’s) so I’m about to sleep for the rest of the day lol. I had an amazing time though.

    You know, maybe it’s just better for me to not talk to my parents anymore. My mom did something to me tonight that was so humiliating that it’s pretty much unforgivable. For all those years that they were so nice and kind and supportive to me, was it all fake?

    That's pretty awful is what it is. Infantilization is real, and for a lot of adult autistics especially the higher-functioning ones, it never goes away until they really figure out on their own. Some never do.

    My parents have used me moving out and living on my own as an excuse to wash their hands of me and not have much to do with me anymore. It really bothers me that they think I’m such a burden and they’re resentful of all the support they had to give me.

    I think you can not bring someone to love you. love (when it´s honest) has to be there on it´s own and when it´s not their, you can not change that. I think you don´t need their recognition. there are and there will be always people who love you.

    Did a training session with my friend’s Malinois puppy today. These are the smartest dogs on the planet imo. But they need constant mental stimulation.

    He doesn’t sleep for long.

    These guys are used primarily as police/military dogs. This one is going to be a working farm dog and guard dog, and do Obedience trials and Schutzhund. My friend (his owner) used to have working Boxer dogs and German Shepherds.

    Some people just have a hard time with feeling sympathy anyway. I think you're in a location without a lot of emotional maturity in it.

    My social battery is dead after this weekend. And that’s saying something because I’m an extrovert!! Plus my friends made a huge mess in my house and it took me until 3pm today to fix it. I could never handle having a roommate or a significant other.

    Sure you could handle a roommate, you just need to make sure it's a housebroken roommate. ;) One of those non-messy ones. And fun parties are usually messy, blankets can be washed, fridges can be cleaned and chaos can be fixed. I think the important thing is if you had fun.

    there are many news articles and different sites about this topic. seems like this is true. some male dolphins rape younger male dolphins for dominance. so when someone thinks that animals are ALWAYS better than humans, than you should think about that. humans are not equal, there are different humans and animals are also different. so not every human is bad and not every animals is good.
