I thought the same thing about Juice World [sic, I don't care how it's actually spelled]

This is the song of his that my friend showed me. I thought it was a joke. I don’t think he’s bad or anything, he actually has good flow lol, I just thought it was satire. (There are no swears, it’s PG-13 in case anyone is wondering)

I’m not a rap connoisseur or anything lol so I have no clue what I’m talking about. I thought Sixnine (again don’t care how it’s spelled) was satire too. He looks and sounds like a joke. And he dresses like a muppet.
Most rappers are totally irrelevant to my life and I’m unaware of most of them. Who was the one who was selling a line of $1000 shoes with real blood in them? I have so many questions about that one…

My opinions on these people are also totally uneducated because I don’t understand pop culture. I just think some of the pop culture stupidity is amusing.

lol, having Rick Astley as your main sample / hook is automatic satire in my book.

Also, true story, I thought The Darkness was a joke when I first heard them as a teenager. The fact that they're still a band making music to this day kind of baffles me, but I guess there's just that much freedom of expression in music and that's what makes it so interesting

"real" rappers for me are one like Eminem, Kollegah, Sun Diego, they really have rap skills and rap technique. many rappers don´t rap that good. it´s more pop than rap. I would not call the video you posted "rap." it´s pop.

20 years ago this would have been a comedy sketch on tv. Now people take it serious? ...and would actually buy a ticket to see this?
