The overlapping symptoms between Autism Spectrum Disorder and Schizotypal Personality Disorder

There is a pretty significant superficial overlap, it is true. There are also, however, some pretty noticeable differences, including developmental ones.

    Frustrated

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Glass’ whole thing that she is writing about foster children and she blurs the details to protect their privacy?

    Hello from a boring clod

Welcome. I understood what you mean by “clod”. And a bit of self-deprecation can be healthy. That said, you don’t seem boring, a clod or a bore to me.

What's up with UFOs these days?

I tend to take the rational approach - there's no good evidence of extraterrestrial UFOs, and good logical reasons (outlined expertly by a few other commentators already) to think it is highly unlikely that there are any advanced spacefaring civilisations within travelling distance from us, so...

Has anyone seen The A Word?

It was a good show. Joe is a fairly marginal character. I was pleased Christopher Eccleston's character wasn't unpleasant. Where the show really excels is actually its portrayal of Downs Syndrome, in my view.

    Passwords on Autism Forums

Hi, apparently I was wrong about WrongPlanet passwords. While they are salted and hashed, the issue is that they can be overwritten by administrators. The WrongPlanet hacker does not have access to users' old passwords, but can write new passwords to gain access to the account.

Thinking about telling a girl I have feelings for her. Advise needed as it’s complicated.

In that case, try something slightly less direct - invite her for coffee rather than saying "a date".

Thinking about telling a girl I have feelings for her. Advise needed as it’s complicated.

Assuming you have some privacy (i.e. you're not putting her on the spot in front of a room full of people waiting for a haircut)... "To be honest, I really like how [direct] you are, and I'd like to spend more time with you. Would you like to go on a date with me?" Don't "confess your feelings"...
