    Lol, I had taught social skills to class of EBD students for four months and miserably failed at it, but it gave me the idea of writing a book on how to teach social skills. However, they taught me all they learned...lol.

    Oh those were the days, well congratulations on your son being diagnosed. As a parent, I would first find a guide to know what are the normal behaviors for a young man in his stage of development, then I would read up on AS to understand his behavior. He could be exhibiting a combination of both...

    I think it is probably true for you that you process data faster than NTs, but I'm usually judged as being "slow" because of how I interact socially; however, NTs judgements are not a true reflection of my intelligence. I just don't respond socially at the same speed and I don't usually bother...

    Speaking about gadgets that help manage time, the apple i-touch has been of immense help to me to keep it together. It has free budgeting, schedule, alarms, diet, and workout apps.
