I wanted to share this sooner, but thought I would wait to see what happened before sharing and even now, not conclusive, but certainly interesting enough to share.
So, it all started when someone posted something from youtube, onto my wall and it was a dr Gibbins ( I think is his name) talking about sugar. Well he just blew me away with his animation and knowledge and what he said about sugar, was so fascinating ie that we NEED sugar because it is fuel for our body; the problem is sugar in foods that we buy ie consuming too much.
Anyway, that is not the reason for this thread, but ACID. I was curious to see what he has to say about GERD and such like and well, he just left me dazed and I am experimenting and so far, so good.
I have no choice, but take a strong acid tablet every day, otherwise, I would end up in hospital due to not being able to eat or drink because of the acid. I should be operated on, but they refuse and very kindly was told I have one of the worst digestion problems they have encountered so far ( this is in France), so of course, I ask myself: if that is so, how come this tablet works then? Once again, sorry I digress!
What we are told by our drs is that we excrete too much stomach acids and thus, at all costs, must be reduced and so, we are given anti acid tablets which stops acid all together, but get this? The opposite applies: we don't HAVE ENOUGH ACID in our stomachs.
He goes on to describe that we need about 90 minerals and vitamins a day for a healthy digestion and says, if one element is missing, it acts like a domino effect. He also described it as a row of dancers, all dancing in sequence, but one goes out of line, it is confusion and that is like our stomach! He went on to say that when one is missing, another hormone comes along ( is there already, but produces more and more) - can't quite remember the name. Anyway, it is this hormone that opens up the door, from our stomach, to our pipe that goes to our throat and voila acid issues.
So, what is the element that we need to close that door? Can you believe it is SALT? He says: stop taking all the meds for acid and start adding salt to your foods. So with great fear that is what I have been doing and goodness me, I have not taken my meds today and I am not suffering at all! I do have it on standby though.
And contrary to what drs say, salt is apparently not bad for you!
