My thought processes.
My upbringing.
Who I am.
Having not yet found a cotton bed sheet robust yet comfortable enough to withstand the amount of wear they receive on moving my feet in order to fall asleep.
I'm still searching.
Sometimes I think that I'm the only Aspie who doesn't play video games!
I had to ground myself from playing video games with achievements. When I get involved in a game, I have to get EVERY achievement, no matter how much time it takes, even if it’s not fun and I hate to do it. So now, if I see a game has achievements, I don’t even start it.
Same with TV shows, hobbies, collections, book series’. If I start, Ihave to finish it ALL. So I have to be very careful what I start.
Dang, I wish I could do that!37
I eat three cookies. If I opt for cookies for desert, I will eat only three. I have done that my entire life.
LOL.....I don't own a cell phone or other hand-held mobile devices. Does that qualify?
My sister (who I think is aspie too) does the same.I'm female, but I don't have a handbag. Not a single one. I don't do handbags, I have clothes with pockets.
I don't own any makeup, either.
I do this and my kids too.I also always go barefoot unless I am in a public place, or during the freezing winter. During the summer, I might as well have hooves lol. Gives me tough feet and makes me even more aware of my surroundings. I also like the way grass feels on my feet.
My daughter is like that (13).I've never learned how to tie my shoes.
I chase away negative and repetitive thoughts by studying German with the Duolingo app.
What a smart and novel idea!
My daughter thought so too, and now she’s studying Japanese with the same app. What a smart and novel idea!
