What song are you listening to right now?

I hate children's choirs with a terrible passion, but this was playing on the radio in this morning and, of course, it was stuck in my head ALL DAY. The DJ mistakenly identified it as part of Alexandre Desplat's score for "Moonrise Kingdom," which made me a little sad, but hey, what can you do? I loved how much Britten there was in that film.

Benjamin Britten
"Cuckoo" from Songs for a Friday Afternoon

Hit the gas, mud slinging right by ya

Trucks sittin' tall, so mean

"akoya: I see, maybe that's why... Each and every day... and every passing hour... felt breathtakingly fresh... When I tried to think... I couldn't keep up... I always... felt fulfilled in my heart.."
"Akoya told me... I'm afraid... I cringe at the immense amount of time that spreads out endlessly before me... We're not all that different... I don't know what to live for from now on... "
