the whole world to yourself for one week.

I would probably go to Japan and visit a few temples, then go to China and have unfettered access to the Forbidden City, which I would take full advantage of. If I thought I could do it in a few days, I would excavate where they think the First Emperor of China's tomb is to see if there really is a landscape of China with rivers flowing with mercury. And if I have enough time left, go to Europe and see the Harry Potter amusement park there. No rides, just exploring the exhibits. And checking out every wand they have at Ollivander's. The Harry Potter thing doesn't have the same enrichment value, but seems fun.

Meh. I've already vicariously experienced such a thing through numerous movies and television over the years involving some kind of catastrophe on an apocalyptic scale.

Though "The Omega Man" still amuses me from the perspective of a Neurotypical. Though I doubt I'd want to play a game of chess with a bust of Julius Caesar, or lust over mannequins in a video store.

But then admittedly I wouldn't call those circumstances "normal" either.

I get all that from living in relative isolation. It's MY "normal", short of conversing with people online I suppose. I guess it all just depends on how you view your own sense of reality. ;)

Just seems like my normal week, so I wouldn't do anything different. Oh, except for the internet, but I could manage without it under those conditions. After all, it would probably be pretty dead with everyone else off doing cool stuff.

I'd be so incredibly happy - I've daydreamed this exact thing for years. It would be paradise, wouldn't matter what I was doing. Until I got sick or broke my leg or something & needed a doctor...

Alternatively I might camp out with a comfortable bed and snacks and wander the Uffizi or the Library of congress for the week. Would have to have an espresso machine though, and lots of paper for sketching, and bring my reading glasses.

A week isn't nearly long enough. The first thing I would have to do is turn off all the electricity (I don't need it), so I could enjoy the silence and darkness for a few days. I'd probably be up half the night just enjoying seeing all the stars again. Then I could go about accomplishing whatever else I wanted. But in no way is a week anywhere near long enough to truly enjoy it, so why bother.

Everyone disappears for a single week, everyone but you. for some reason the world continues to act like there are people, for some reason water electricity, Internet, everything still going like normal. you have no limitations on travel can go anywhere you want in this one week even if it is across the world. everything that you do during this one week will be reverted back to normal by the end of it, So smash all the Ferraris you like.

You have the whole world to yourself. What are you going to do?
I’d get out of bed, go to work, and go about my day as normal. I dislike routine changes. Fantasy doesn’t make any sense to me. It seem like a waste of time.

There was a terrible 70's movie I saw where a watch stopped everything but the one holding the watch. So like that. Even animals were frozen in time.

I don't know. Maybe see how other people are living to see if I am too far off the mark? I hate to think I would snoop, but I often wonder how many other people let perfectly good cheese rot in the fridge?

Maybe I don't want to snoop. I would hate to think my nice neighbour is eye deep into porno...............

Firstly I would visit Australia, after 32 years of watching Neighbours I need to see if the Country is really full of HOT women in low cut dresses at this time of year (it's still their Summer).

I would spend a lot of time doing everything that I find uncomfortable doing because of all the people around. Finally trying on lots of different styles of clothes (without having to take them all back), going swimming in the sea and lounging on the beach (in the Maldives) without caring what I look like. Roaming around New York city without fear. Dining in a fancy restaurant. Driving everywhere! Camping out under the stars.
